Paisley Paedophile Scott Cuthberston Shares Child Abuse Material on Snapchat
Scott Cuthbertson from Paisley, Scotland has been arrested after Scottish Police raided his home and phone category A sexual material on his phone.
Scott Cuthbertson, aged 21 at the time, shared severe child abuse material on the social media platform Snapchat in July 2021. Scotland Police raided the paedophile’s home in October 2022 and seized his device to run a thorough analysis.
The digital forensic report was carried out and discovered three images and one video depicting child sexual exploitation and abuse on the paedophile’s iPhone. Scott Cuthbertson was in possession of Category B and C images of female children aged between eight and 15 years old.
Upon his arrest, Scott Cuthbertson did not explain why he was in possession of child abuse imagery and answered ‘no comment’ to all questions.
Defence agent Anthony Boland told the court that Cuthbertson has been on bail for his possession of child abuse imagery but had had “no problems” since October 2022.
Sheriff Clare Arias deferred Cuthbertson’s sentencing to prepare background reports and assess Cuthbertson’s suitability for a restriction of liberty order assessment.
Scott Cuthbertson has been placed on the sex offenders’ register and the outcome of his case will be determined at his sentencing on the 30th of July.
